valentine's day

so, what do you do during valentine's day?

you say :"i love you" to your partner?
( why only say it on that day, or you actually realize you only love her or him on this day but not other day or if you say it on valentine's day it actually means more)

you buy a present for him/her
( but you still buy her gift even is not valentine? so what so special about valentine's gift)

you buy her flower
(why cant i give her flower next week? the flowers are more expensive during valentine's)

you bring her out for a special dinner
( izit mean that other days you dont need to bring her out for dinner)

so why do you celebrate valentine's day? is there any other reason other than because everyone else celebrate it. if ur partner only show his or her love during valentine's day, then i think you better start looking for another person to celebrate with you next year.

i wonder who is the smart fella who created this occasion. may be it is not suppose to celebrate this way. may be it suppose to be like the chinese valentine's day where you go to the river"throw" oranges to get a partner. so valentine's day is actually for people who look for the other half rather than for the people who already have a partner.

from what i observed, i think it is too commercialize. the roses in the world suddenly become so precious and expensive. the chocolates, the wrapping paper and the teddy bear also suddenly become more expensive. the sweetness of the chocolate still remain the same, the size of the wrapping paper and bears are also the same. why it needs to be more expensive? people just celebrate it because they have to not because they want to but actually do we need to? some people even feel depress when thats no one to celebrate with them.

so ah, if you really want to celebrate it, after this week you better buy the rose seed( grow it now) then plan for ur next valentine's gift. buy it in advance, then you can save alot of money d.

you can say because i am single and not in love so i cant understand, in fact i really dont understand. so pls educate me and share with us if you understand.
if you are in love , what so special about 14 of feb, everyday should be a happy valentine's day!

p/s this is just some random thought, dont get offenced if you do celebrate it. is definitely legal to do so haha. do enjoy if you celebrate it, and dont be sad if you are not.
