BBQ

Last week, I was invited to a bbq party organized by one of my batch mate, Adrian. He is from Singapore. So, all of us (the imu students) went. We managed to meet some other Malaysian and Singaporean in the party. So I named it a Malaysian and Singaporean gathering. One of the Singaporean friends make a joke “may be we can start discuss about the Malaysia water supply to Singapore now, since we have so many Malaysian and Singaporean” (lame)

They come out with a theme “traffic light” where people who are attached have to wear red colour shirt, single green colour shirt. If you are complicated then is orange colour. I find it very interesting and creative to know each other in this way hahaha. Everyone also have to bring their sunglasses, this is part of the dress code. They also provide some funny sunglasses. Another interesting thing is, the bbq here always held in the afternoon. I don’t why, but I guess if at night it should be too cold to stay out. So, most of the party is in the afternoon. Luckily the weather was nice, the cold wind combine with the Malaysia like sunlight. Is like genting, I find it very comfortable. I don’t think we can do anything outdoor at 1pm if is Malaysia, we might be bbq even before the chicken is cook haha.

After the party, Nawal ( a JPA student from my batch) give us a ride back to our hostel. On our way back, we realize the air pressure in the back tyre was very low. So we decided to go to the nearest patrol station to pump the type. And I discover another interesting stuff, the tyre air pump machine need coin to operate it. I was so shock when I know that, cos all the while in Malaysia I never pay any money to pump my car tyre. Air only wo, like that also need money! I wonder whether is only free in Malaysia or only UK need to pay. Anyone know the answer?
